Description
The greathearted Ibis is in motion as the woman sleeps. This piece of art speaks to me. It says fearless and defiance and yet humanity and acknowledgement. I love the position in which the woman lays. It reminds me of dependency, like that of a new child to a mother or father. Her mind is roaming, even in her dreams, it yearns for nourishment- spiritual, physical and emotional. In this (dare I say) vulnerable moment she still remains protected. Her defenses are both titanium-strong and ironclad. Her will opens the gates of her heart and her passion flows abundantly throughout the painting.
